The City of
Mason (pop. approx. 8,000) is seeking a Director for the
Department of Public Works. Reporting to the City
Administrator, this position is responsible for the
direction of the Streets and Water Division, Publicly
Owned Treatment Works, and Cemetery and Parks Division
and is responsible for the supervision of 19 employees.
Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree preferred;
experience in public works construction, maintenance and
repair work; environmental regulatory issues. The ideal
candidate will have at least three years of experience
in a supervisory or administrative capacity and possess
strong leadership and communication skills. Residence
within 20 miles of the Mason city limits within one
year.
Salary range: $55,167 - $66,200.
